Clinical Society Meeting Organised at SRM Kattankulathur Dental College and Hospital

The Clinical Society Meeting of SRM Kattankulathur Dental College and Hospital was successfully held on 3rd September 2024. The event also brought together shows of informative presentations by postgraduate students of the institution and interns depicting modern practices in periodontal oral health care.

Dr. Lochini, a postgraduate student (2nd year), along with final-year postgraduates Dr. Sindhuja and Dr. Mohamed Rashik from the Department of Periodontology, presented an in-depth discussion on the topic PRF: Empowering Periodontal Regeneration from Within. Based on the discussion on the use of Platelet-Rich Fibrin (PRF) in enhancing periodontal regeneration, solutions were provided that may help to enhance patient results.

Moreover, SRM Kattankulathur Dental College intern, Dr. Sinchana presented a very interactive session on Toothbrush Disinfection which handled the role of personal hygiene on the dental hygiene equipment that we use every day.

The Clinical Society Meeting was beneficial in terms of sharing knowledge and ideas—paved for a wholesome learning culture; it also highlighted the skills and enthusiasm of the upcoming dentists of SRMKDC.
