SRM Kattankulathur Dental College and Hospital organised the Indian Orthodontic Society (IOS) Zonal PG Convention

The Department of Orthodontics, SRM Kattankulathur Dental College and Hospital organised the Indian Orthodontic Society (IOS) Zonal PG Convention from May 23rd to 25th, 2025. This three-day academic conclave witnessed the spirited participation of over 350 postgraduate students from dental institutions across India, all specialising in the field of Orthodontics.

The convention was graced by eminent dignitaries whose presence added immense value and prestige to the event:

The convention began with pre-convention courses on Day 1, providing hands-on training and in-depth learning sessions curated specifically for postgraduate orthodontic students. The following days featured a line-up of insightful guest lectures by leading experts in Orthodontics, delving into current trends, innovations, and advancements in the field.

A key highlight of the event was the scientific sessions, where participants showcased their research and clinical acumen through scientific paper presentations, posters, and table clinics. These sessions offered an excellent platform for young professionals to share knowledge, receive feedback, and refine their academic and clinical skills.
