The SRM Kattankulathur Dental College Faculty was honoured to keynote at the recent Indian Orthodontic Conference held in February 2014.

Dr. Deepak Chandrasekharan, Professor and Head of the Department of Orthodontics at SRM Kattankulathur Dental College and Hospital, successfully performed his presentation at the 58th Indian Orthodontic Conference held from September 20 to 22, 0024, at Clarks Exotica, Bengaluru.

During his guest lecture, Dr. Chandrasekharan presented recent approaches that emphasize surgical elements as the primary type of treatment in orthodontics, entitled “Surgery First Orthodontic Approach.” His session kept the audience interested and provided them with some insights on the changes in orthodontics today. This was highly appreciated by the audiences, and along with showcasing SRM Kattankulathur Dental College as the dental college with innovative ideas and appropriateness for the present scenario.

The present paper is a great contribution by Dr. Chandrasekharan in aligning SRM’s vision towards excellence with its constant strive for progress in the field of dental healthcare.
