Interdisciplinary Lecture Series on Artificial Intelligence in Health Care

SRM Kattankulathur Dental College and Hospital, in association with the Directorate of Alumni Affairs, SRM Institute of Science and Technology (SRMIST), successfully organised an Interdisciplinary Lecture Series on 24 January 2026 at Lecture Hall 1.

The session featured Dr. Deepak Renganathan, CXO, Certified Chair, Author, and Global AI and Marketing Thought Leader, currently based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. A distinguished alumnus of SRMIST (B.Arch, 2001), Dr. Deepak delivered an insightful lecture on the topic “Artificial Intelligence in Health Care.”

During the lecture, Dr. Deepak highlighted the transformative role of artificial intelligence in modern healthcare systems, with a focus on clinical applications, decision support, efficiency in patient care, and future trends in medical practice. Drawing from his extensive global experience across industries in the Americas, China, EMEA, and APAC regions, he shared practical perspectives on innovation, leadership, and performance-driven approaches in healthcare.

The program witnessed active participation from interns, postgraduate students, and faculty members, fostering meaningful interdisciplinary interaction and discussion. The session concluded with an engaging question-and-answer segment, reinforcing the relevance of AI-driven solutions in contemporary healthcare education and practice.
