Collaboration with the Rotary Club of Addiction Prevention

SRM Kattankulathur Dental College and Hospital, in collaboration with the Rotary Club of Addiction Prevention, Mumbai, organised an enlightening workshop on tobacco de-addiction. Dr. Nilam Gada, a renowned expert, served as the guest speaker, shedding light on the detrimental effects of tobacco on oral and overall health. She also shared valuable insights into methods for overcoming tobacco addiction and the latest advancements in the field.

Lt. Col. Dr. A. Ravikumar, Pro Vice Chancellor of MHS, Dr. Nitin M. Nagarkar, Dean (Medical), and Dr. N. Vivek, Dean (Dental), presented Dr. Nilam Gada with accolades for her outstanding contributions during the event. This informative workshop drew the participation of over 350 students from SRM Kattankulathur Dental College and SRM Medical College, as well as dedicated faculty members from both institutions. It was a valuable opportunity for all attendees to gain insights and knowledge on the critical subject of tobacco de-addiction.
