SRM Kattankulathur Dental College and Hospital Organises Awareness Rally on International OMFS Day

On the occasion of International Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery (OMFS) Day, the Department of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery, SRM Kattankulathur Dental College and Hospital (SRMKDC), organised an Awareness Rally on February 13, 2025, within the campus. The rally aimed to spread crucial messages on tobacco cessation and cancer awareness, emphasising the significance of early detection and prevention of oral diseases.

The event was led by Prof. Vivek, Dean (Dental), SRM Kattankulathur Dental College and Hospital, along with Prof. Ram Kumar, Senior Consultant, who graced the occasion as the Guest of Honour. The rally focused on educating individuals about self-examination of the oral cavity and raising awareness regarding the harmful effects of tobacco and other deleterious habits.
