The Department of Public Health Dentistry, SRM Kattankulathur Dental College and Hospital, actively participated in the Anti-Tobacco Awareness Rally held on 30 May 2026 at Besant Nagar Beach, Chennai, in observance of World No Tobacco Day 2026.

The rally was organised by the Adyar Cancer Institute in collaboration with the IAPHD Tamil Nadu Chapter and the Indian Dental Association (IDA), bringing together healthcare professionals, students, and public health advocates to promote tobacco-free lifestyles.
