SRM Kattankulathur Dental College & Hospital Observes World Cancer Day 2025 with Guest Lecture and Cancer Warrior Recognition

On this World Cancer Day, which is observed on 4th February 2025, the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, SRM Kattankulathur Dental College & Hospital (SRMKDC) organised an enlightening guest lecture on “Postoperative Oral Dysfunction Following Oral Cancer Resection and Reconstruction” by Dr. Yuhei Matsuda, Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon, Shimane University Faculty of Medicine, Japan.

The event was graced by eminent figures in the field of maxillofacial surgery, including Prof. Manikandhan R, President of the Association of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons of India (AOMSI), and Prof. Senthil Murugan M, Executive Committee Member, AOMSI. Their presence underscored the significance of advancements in oral cancer treatment and rehabilitation.
