Oral Health Awareness Camp Conducted at Government High School, Potheri

The Interns of the Department of Public Health Dentistry conducted an Oral Health Education and Awareness Camp at Government High School, Potheri, with the objective of promoting oral health awareness and encouraging healthy dental practices among school students.

The programme focused on educating students about the importance of maintaining proper oral hygiene, adopting healthy dietary and lifestyle habits, and understanding the significance of preventive dental care. Through health education and awareness activities, the students were encouraged to develop good oral hygiene practices from an early age.

The initiative aimed to emphasize the importance of early awareness and prevention in maintaining lifelong oral health. It also provided an opportunity for the interns to engage with the school community and contribute towards improving oral health knowledge among young learners.

The camp reinforced the department’s commitment to community-based oral health promotion and preventive dental care.
