Department of Pediatric and Preventive Dentistry

• Started in the year 2007 the Department provides pre-doctoral and post-doctoral training in comprehensive oral health care for pediatric patients.
• The Department operates a general pediatric dental clinic, and a specialty clinic in conjunction with the University.
• The Department has a diverse and rich clinical faculty that includes 6 full-time clinical faculty members who are pediatric dentists.
• In addition to pediatric dentists, our faculty includes psychologists, behavioral scientists, a statistician, an epidemiologist, an orthodontist, and public health experts.
• Physicians and dental specialists from other departments also contribute to teaching in the program.
• Faculties provide leadership to students and help them conduct research and other scholarly activities.
• With sincere teaching and guiding students in academic front had bought laurels in various on-stage platforms.
• We regularly conduct school dental health program and create awareness among the school children in and around our university had bought in lot a children to the department with dental needs.
• We had catered to children with various special health care need, for their oral hygiene with the help of general anesthesia.
